Job Title: Customer Service Consultant
Location: Port Melbourne
Type: Part-time 3-5 Days (Approximately 15-20 hours per week) with future opportunity to grow.

Are you passionate about providing exceptional customer service? Portier Australia is seeking a part-time Customer Service Professional to join our growing team. In addition to customer support, this role will involve packing orders and ensuring our customers receive their products with care.

About the Role

The customer service team interact daily with customers on an inbound basis – responding to web and email enquiries to answer product and stock questions, dealing with any queries regarding orders, deliveries, returns or general product questions. 


Key Responsibilities:
  • Dealing with customer enquiries including, but not limited to, product information and availability, advice on product features, how to use the product effectively and with confidence.
  • Processing and packing e-commerce orders accurately and efficiently
  • Providing product information and assistance to customers
  • Utilising Shopify to manage customer profiles, accounts, and order histories to enhance the overall shopping experience and personalise customer interactions.
  • Leveraging Gorgias to provide exceptional customer support, responding to inquiries and resolving issues across multiple channels.
  • Utilising Loop to process and manage returns, providing an efficient and customer-friendly return process.
  • Overseeing logistics and fulfillment via Starshipit, ensuring timely delivery and coordination with shipping partners.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in customer service and order fulfilment is essential.
  • Excellent written communication skills, as all queries will be responded to via email or chat.
  • Passion for babywearing and knowledge of baby carrier products (a bonus!)
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
