What fabrics does portier use?

Fabric quality is consistently at the heart of everything we produce. Ensuring we select fabrics comprised of all-natural fibres is something we simply will not compromise on. Therefore, portier products are
created from the highest quality natural materials, like linen, hemp, cotton, and organic cotton.

Does portier offer a warranty on its products?

All of our bags and accessories are covered under warranty for 6 months from the date of delivery and carriers are covered for 12 months from date of delivery. Please note that the warranty will not be honoured if our quality control team believe the fault is due to general wear and tear or if the item has been mistreated.

Sizing & Instructions

When can I start using the Limitless Carrier?

The Limitless Baby Carrier can be used from Newborn – approx. 2years (3.2kg / 7lbs – 16kg / 35lbs). TIP: Please ensure you adjust the black snap buttons on the inside of the waist belt to the newborn setting before first use.

How do I know if the portier carrier will fit?

Does the Limitless carrier offer 3-way carry functionality (Front carry facing in, front carry facing out & back carry)

Yes, you can wear your baby on your front – facing inward or facing outward, or on your back.

When can I carry my baby in the front carry facing outwards position?

The portier Limitless Baby Carrier allows you to front carry your baby in the facing outward position when your baby is between 5.9kg / 13lbs – 10kg / 22lbs, has independent neck and head control, and is tall enough to have their face unobstructed above the top of the body panel while in the carrier.

It is IMPORTANT to ensure your carrier is adjusted accordingly for the outward facing carry position before use. (Please refer to page 10 of the instruction manual). Be sure the bottom of the carrier’s waist belt, which is where the baby will sit, is adjusted to the widest setting when carrying a child in the facing outward position. Thigh support should always be buttoned onto the lower set of buttons on the front carrier panel when carrying a child facing outward.

Safety & Endorsements

Are portier carriers safe to use?

The portier Limitless carrier is safe to use and comply with the ASTM F2236 safety Standards for Baby carriers.

Does the Limitless carrier support babies with hip hysplasia?

Yes, portier can confirm that our Limitless carrier has been acknowledged as hip healthy by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute.

Please note that your baby’s knees should always be higher than their bottom, fabric supporting the thighs.

Washing & Care

Can I wash my portier carrier in the washing machine?

All portier Limitless carriers are machine washable. Please refer to our care page on how to wash your portier carrier in the washing machine.

The portier Limitless carrier is a complete ready to use product. We recommend spot cleaning your carrier with a soft cloth and warm water where possible to preserve its original nature.

Orders & Payments

What is a pre-order and how does it work?

A pre-order item is not available for immediate purchase as we do not currently have that item in stock. Therefore, pre-order items have an
extended delivery date in comparison to in-stock items. Please always refer to the estimated delivery date noted on the product page.

What payment method does portier accept?

When will my pre-order be shipped?

Please refer to the estimated date listed on the product at the time of purchase for when we anticipate you will receive your order.

please note, orders that contain both in-stock and pre-order items will be shipped together when when the pre-order product arrives ready for shipment. Unfortunately, we are unable to split orders that include both in-stock and pre-order items. To receive your available items sooner, we recommend placing two separate orders.

Shipping & Delivery

Does portier offer free shipping?

Yes, we offer free standard shipping Australia wide on all orders over $150.00. We also offer free express shipping to USA and Canada on all orders.

Where does portier ship from?

Each product is quality checked and packaged by hand in Melbourne, Australia.

International Shipping

Do you ship internationally? If so, which countries do you ship to?

Yes! To ship internationally, we partner with Global-e. Global-e is a trusted global ecommerce vendor whose solution allows portier to provide the best possible user experience to our international customers.

Please select the country switcher dropdown to see which countries we ship to and select accordingly. Once you are in checkout, you will see local payment methods and calculations for any appropriate shipping, duties, taxes and other customs fees.

Are duties and taxes included at checkout?

Duties and taxes are calculated based on the items ordered, shipment destination, and the value of the purchase.

If duties and taxes are charged at checkout, they will appear as a separate line item. If they are already included in the product price, there will be a note at checkout clarifying. Some countries require duties and taxes to be paid upon delivery and they will be the customer’s responsibility. It will be noted at checkout for full transparency before you order.

What is your returns policy for international orders?
  • Please initiate your refund / exchange via our Returns Portal and follow the prompts. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. You can find your order number on your order confirmation email.
  • We are unable to process exchanges. Instead, we kindly ask you to submit a return for your item and make a new purchase for the desired item, as shipping timeframes may cause delays.
  • Once your return has been approved, your shipping label will be emailed to you.
  • Securely pack your return item(s), along with the return form and attach the label securely to the satchel.
  • You will be refunded via the same method of payment used to purchase, including payments made via a gift card.
  • Refunds are issued in the same currency as the original payment.
  • Please note that a flat fee will be deducted from your refund or store credit to cover the return shipping costs.
  • Once your return is received and inspected at our warehouse, your refund will be processed. Please allow up to 7-10 business days for the refund to be credited back to your original form of payment.
